The administration and teachers of DHST-South will recognize the various accomplishments, achievements, accolades, and awards of our students in our end of the year Awards Day Celebration, Friday, April 29, 2022:
AM Session: 9:30 - 11:30 AM
PM Session: 12:30 - 2:30 PM
Due to the DCSD COVID-19 pandemic safety protocols, celebrations will not be open to the public to attend. We recognize student achievement in several categories. Listed below is the criteria for each category:
End of Pathway Completers – students must pass a minimum of 3 courses within a chosen pathway. Pathway Completers are also required to take the End of Pathway Assessment (EOPA) upon program completion. Pathway Completers will receive a medallion for their success.
Georgia Best Cords – Students must have 10 or less excused/unexcused absences by February 9, 2022.
Principal List, Honor Roll and Perfect Attendance is a combination of 1st and 2nd semester. The criteria for each category is listed below:
- Principal List – All “A” both semesters, satisfactory conduct and 7 or less excused absences.
- Honor Roll – “A/B or B/B” both semesters, satisfactory conduct and 7 or less excused absences.
- Perfect Attendance – Attend Everyday Both Semesters and satisfactory conduct.
